Annual Day :

The Vidyalaya celebrates Annual Day every year to honour the prizewinners of different events. It reflects the entire activities of the Vidyalaya in brief before all the parents, dignitaries gathered. we also celebrated the 35th Annual Day in May 2008, Shri Hage Khoda, IAS, Chairman VMC KV No 1 Itanagar grace the occasion highlighting the importance of National unity and integrity. Students presented a colourful and attractual cultural programme.

Sports Day :
The Vidyalaya observed 35th Annual Sports Day on 24th Jan, 2009. Honerable Chairman VMC, Mr.Hage Khoda, grace the occasion. Different types of sports events were conducted. Raman House bagged the championship. In the session 2009-10 Sports Day will be celebrated in the Month of Jan 2010.

Social Science Exhibition:This year our Vidyalaya got the opportunity for conducting cluster level social science exhibition on 22-08-09. KV No1 1 itanagar has participated in KV No 1 Tejpur.One student of our Vidyalaya has been selected for National level Quiz competition. This event is not only a platform to expose the hidden talents of the students but also develops National integration among the students.Three sudent participated in National level Debate & quiz competition and got second prize in 2007-08.

NCC :
For the first time in the history of the Vidyalaya NCC wing is on the way of it's establishment.

Scouts and Guides :

Service to mankind is service to God" To develop this ethos among the students the Scout and Guide wing of our Vidyalaya functions well. It organizes different related activities of Scouts and Guides. The enrollment of the wing is as follows:

Report : On every friday, scout activities are held on vidyalaya level. Diffrent types of scout & Guide activities viz pledge, prayer, flag procedure, BP Six Excercise, yell, pioneering, knotting, gazzattes making, estimeting, yoga & meditation, knowledge of badges, troops, unit, petrol system, duties of petrol leaders, first aids, use of bamboo, use of compass, practice of songs, national anthem, flag song, group song are taught.

Maths Olympiad :
Our students take part in Maths Olympiad examination every year. More often students of our Vidyalaya stand 1st in entire Arunachal Pradesh in this examination

Green Olympiad :
Our students participate in National level Talent Test named Green Olympiad conducted by TERI (Tata Energy Research Institute) sponsored by Hero Honda and Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan. Students from class VI to X participate in the said examination Mst. Abhishek Bhagawati and Mst Imer Ite became the state winner and got cash Prize of Rs. 5500.00 each.

Regional & National Sports Meet :
Students of our Vidyalaya take part in Regional and National Sports Meet conducted by KVS every year. This year, three boys has won gold medal and selected for national. further 14 student won the silver medal and 01 student got bronze medal

CCA and other important events :To develop the hidden talents of the students in different fields. Co-curricular activities are conducted by dividing the entire students of the Vidyalaya into four houses namely Ashoka House, Raman House, Shivaji House, Tagore House. It is conducted as per the mental ability of the students at two levels, Primary, Secondary and Senior Secondary Levels.
Inter House competitions are conducted during the CCA period which include solo dance, mono acting, Hindi skit, Debate in Hindi & English, Quiz, Floral Decoration, Instrumental Music, Declamation, Drawing and Painting, Group Dance, Poem Recitation etc. A calendar of the above events is circulated among all the students and staff.
A part from Co-curricular activities our students actively participated in the contribution programme of Help Age India and collected the highest amount of Rs. 84,190.00 in the
entire Guwahati region. The Vidyalaya also celebrates all important Days and National Days. Kendriya Vidyalaya Foundation Day is also celebrated. From 19th to 25th Nov we observed Quami Ekta Week and on 28th Feb Science Day.

Social Activities :
students of our Vidyalaya participated in the programmme of donation of HelpAge India and collected the highest amount of Rs. 84190.00 in entire Guwahati Region.

Cyber Olympiad :This year 127 student took participation in International Cyber Olympiad conducted by Eduheal Foundation. The exam was held on 07th Sep 2009.
